High Blood Pressure at Applebee's
Most of the foods served at Applebee's restaurants are high in sodium. Unless you are visiting the restaurant or dining here in the group, there are hardly any options from the main meals if you wish to keep your blood pressure in check. You can rely on a few salad options though. If lucky, you may find low-sodium ribs as well at the restaurant.
Foods to Avoid at Applebee's for High Blood Pressure
Avoid Green Goddess Wedge at Applebee's. Broccoli Cheese Soup and French Onion Soup contain over 1000mg sodium and hence must be skipped as well. Skip all the chicken dishes and seafood at Applebee's except Grilled Chicken Breast and Baked Haddock without sides respectively. You must also skip Brunch Burger, Quesadilla Burger, Triple Bacon Burger, and Whiskey Bacon Burger at Applebee's. High sodium intake can be lethal for a high blood pressure candidate. Avoid ordering foods that contain over 1000mg sodium at Applebee's, especially if you're dining alone.

High Cholesterol at Applebee's
Well, steaks and ribs go hand in hand with cholesterol. Being their signature dish, it will be a challenge to find low-calorie, healthy food for those concerned with their cholesterol levels. However, you can always opt for their salads and other light foods to keep the cholesterol in check.
Foods to Avoid at Applebee's for High Cholesterol
If you have high cholesterol, then you must avoid eating sandwiches, wraps, and tacos at Applebee's. About Applebee's
Applebee is an American full-service restaurant brand popularly known for its signature Riblets. Applebee was conceptualized in 1980 by Bill and TJ Palmer in Atlanta, Georgia. At first, the restaurant was named T.J. Applebee's RX for Edibles and Elixirs. After the concept was acquired by W.R. Grace and Company, the restaurant was renamed as Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar. Later the company and the Applebee's concept changed hands with Abe Gustin and John Hamra who started the first Applebee's franchise restaurant in Kansas City.
Later in 2007, IHOP Corp. now known as DineEquity, Inc. acquired Applebee's and began their journey together to make Applebee's the world's largest full-service restaurant chain. Today, Applebee's serves at more than 1,830 locations worldwide. The Applebee's menu ranges from Appetizers and Salads to heavy meals consisting of ribs and steak. Although the trademark dish Riblets is a hot favorite among regular Applebee's dwellers, the restaurant also serves some amazing burgers, sandwiches, pasta, and salads.

Not too bad. My big problem is that every time I'm here, they are out of one thing or another. It's never crowded, so I don't understand the constant shortages. The food is about average and the staff is very nice.

This place was awful. Our server kristina sucked. Their were ants crawling around in my drink and she still had the nerve to charge me for it. She had a hard time understanding English and messed up our orders. Their was hair in out food. This place sucks and was looking forward to eating there cause the one near where I live is good.

The first time we ever came to this place, it was packed. All the waiters and waitresses ignored me and my party, so we just left. This time (a year later) we decided to give the place one more chance, and thankfully, we were not disappointed. The service was absolutely great, the ambiance relaxed, and the food was good, not spectacular, but a very, solid good. My wife and I left satisfied and certainly agreeing with one another to make the trip back and have a go at it again.

I went here to watch the Packers play with some friends while I was visiting in Florida. The good news is that we had a group and they were happy to let us watch the game and hang out for longer than they were getting orders from us. Also, the wings were not bad. Other than that, be prepared for pretty average bar food and somewhat inattentive wait staff. Maybe they were rooting for the other team and let their bias get in the way? I doubt it because the other team's fans looked like they were doing the "where's the waitress ?" headspin as well. Also forgot and/or mixed up some drink orders. So I may go back for the access to out of area football games but will probably try a different place next time.

Hey management! Give the girls some help. Came with the family for the first time in this establishment. We were greeted when we entered by the waitress from across the room. She was very pleasant, and told us to select a table. The tables were clean, and the other waitress quickly came to take our order. My kids had the chicken nuggets, which were of high-quality, and not just the processed meat stuff. My wife and I had the hot wings which were excellent. The "hot" was only a little spicy. Would probably kick it up a notch or two if you really want spicy wings. The bathroom was in okay shape, but not the cleanest I've been in. The waitress only came back once to check on us, and it took a while to get our check. I would give it five stars if the service was just a little bit better. That is NOT a knock on the servers that were handling both the main floor as well as the bar that night. Management needs to provide them at least a bartender, and then I would give five stars.

Came here around 7:45 on a Saturday and were one of three tables in the whole place. The food was alright, what we expected it to be, nothing to write home about. Service was horrible. We watched our server eating her own meal at the bar while we saw our food in the kitchen window and heard the kitchen staff ringing a bell to get someone to run the food. She never checked on us, so we only got one round of drinks which is their loss $. When she came to take our plates, she was still chewing her own food. It was super slow and yet we were surrounded by dirty tables - gross.

We had an amazing experience at Beef O Bradys. The food was great and the so was the service. We came to Cocoa Beach to watch a rocket launch and our server Megan was helpful and suggested viewing spots to watch the launch. There was a game room for the kids, which was very entertaining. Enjoyed everything and will be back on our next vacation to Cocoa Beach.

This BOB's is pretty average for the chain. The location can be hard to find for tourists since it's at the corner of the Publix in the area between Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach. I've eaten here a few times and the food was what I expected each time. Cooked right and the same as other BOB's. The staff is friendly and there are plenty of TV's to watch the game(s). It's never really busy (in my experience) so you should be in luck with getting a seat.

In all honesty, I should probably list the things I did like instead of the things I hated, because that would be a very short list. Instead, I will tell you what I hated...Not being acknowledged for nearly 15 minutes after seating ourselves. Trying to convince the waitress to accept our Yelp Check In offer because we didn't have a print out of said offer (that's the whole point of mobile coupons, right?). Spinach and artichoke dip that was lukewarm at best and just chalky. 10 minute wait to get our second round, for no apparent reason. By that point, I was just fed up. Our waitress was very nice when she was actually around, and I get that it was toward the end of the the evening, but there were not enough customers to constitute the bad service. The prices are ok for bar food, and the burger was decent, but unless there's a really good sports match I just have to watch on the big screen, I'm avoiding this place.

Meh! Underwhelmed. The chicken and fish were ok but the sides were bland. My seasoned rice was barely seasoned and undercooked. The service was slow. Not going back.
